The value of exported hazelnuts increased by 37%.

From August 1, 2024, to January 26, 2025, Georgia exported 12.2 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts, totaling USD 73.3 million. 

Compared to the same period last year, the quantity of exported hazelnuts increased by 1.7 thousand tonnes ( 17%) and the value - by 19.7 million USD ( 37%).
During the mentioned period, the average export price of hazelnuts increased by 17%, amounting to USD 6.01 / kg.

 Georgian hazelnuts are exported to European Union countries, specifically Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and others. In addition to the European Union countries, exports were carried out to Armenia, China, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.
