The value of exported apples increased 6 times

From August 1, 2024, to January 26, 2025, Georgia exported 9.1 thousand tonnes of apples, generating a value of USD 5.8 million.

 

Apple exports significantly increased compared to the same period last year, rising by 7.6 thousand tonnes (a sixfold growth) in quantity and USD 4.8 million (also a sixfold growth) in value.

 

Russia remains the primary destination for apple exports, receiving 9,026 tonnes. Additional exports include 60 tonnes to Kazakhstan, 21 to Turkey, and 2 to Armenia.
