Over the past seven months, Georgia has exported hazelnuts worth USD 84.4 million.

From August 1, 2024, to March 3, 2025, the country exported 13.7 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts, with an average export price of USD 6.14 per kg—an increase of 16% compared to last year.

 

The primary export countries were European Union markets, including Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Additionally, Georgia exported hazelnuts to Armenia, China, Turkey, Israel, Russia, and Ukraine.

 

Compared to the same period last year, the export volume grew by 2.1 thousand tonnes (18%), while the total export value increased by USD 22.4 million (36%).
