Georgia exported USD 100.5 Million worth of hazelnuts in the last 9 months.
From August 1, 2024, to April 23, 2025, Georgia exported 16,000 tonnes of hazelnuts, marking a 20% increase (2.7 thousand tonnes) compared to the same period last year. The total export value rose by USD 26.5 million—a 36% growth—reaching USD 100.5 million.
During the reporting period, the average export price of hazelnuts also increased by 13%, amounting to 6.29 USD per kilogram.
Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to the European Union markets, namely Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic. In addition, they were exported to Armenia, China, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Algeria, and Morocco.
