In the last 9 months, apple exports from Georgia increased by 15 thousand tonnes.

In the past nine months, Georgia has experienced a remarkable surge in apple exports, with an increase of 15,000 tonnes. Between August 1, 2024, and April 23, 2025, the country exported a total of 17.2 thousand tonnes of apples, generating an export value of USD 10.9 million.

 

When compared to the same period last year, apple exports saw a significant rise both in volume and value:

 

Volume Increase: Exports grew by 15,000 tonnes, reflecting a 7.6-fold increase.
Value Increase: The export value surged by 9.4 million USD, marking a 7.4-fold increase.

 

The average export price of apples during this period was USD 0.63  per kilogram.

Russia: 17,095 tonnes
Kazakhstan: 60 tonnes
Belarus: 39 tonnes
Turkey: 21 tonnes
Armenia: 11 tonnes
