China International Import Expo to hold in Shankhai

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili together with Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Bakhtadze and other members of the Georgian government participated in the opening ceremony of the International Import Expo in Shankhai. The President of China, Xi Jinping hosted the representatives of Georgia in the People's Republic of China.
Under the frame of the Georgian government delegation’s visit to Shanghai, it was emphasized, that Georgia is the first country in the region, which signed  free trade agreements with China and that the interests of Chinese companies are stable in terms of investing in Georgia.
More than 50 Georgian companies, including wine and other agro-food producers participating in the exhibition provide visitors to get familiar with the business environment and export potential of Georgia. The International Import Exhibition will end on November 10 in Shanghai.
