Levan Davitashvili met with the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia,  Levan Davitashvili met with his counterpart -Minister of Agriculture of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Tite Aroshidze. At the meeting, the participants have been focused on the agricultural development programs. The strategy to combat the brown marmorated stink bug invasion in the country was brought forward by sides, who also highlighted future coordination and cooperation issues.

 

"At the meeting we have discussed future agricultural support plans. It is noteworthy, that our Ministries have close coordination to ensure that agricultural activities are implemented as efficiently as possible " -Levan Davitashvili said.

 

The importance of coordinated work was underlined by the Minister of Agriculture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Tite Aroshidze.

 

"We brought forward challenges faced by the agricultural sector in Adjara region; Therefore, all agricultural projects are important and should be implemented through our joint efforts "- Tite Aroshidze said.

 

The Deputies of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture attended the meeting.
