Georgian Pavilion hosts the Azerbaijani President at the CASPIAN AGRO 2025 Agricultural Exhibition.
Mr. David Songulashvili welcomed the Azerbaijani President to the Georgian pavilion at the CASPIAN AGRO 2025 Agricultural Exhibition.
The 2025 CASPIAN AGRO agricultural exhibition opened today in Baku, Azerbaijan, drawing attention to the vibrant Georgian national pavilion. Azerbaijani President Mr. Ilham Aliyev visited the pavilion, where he was hosted by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. David Songulashvili, along with the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Mr. Zurab Pataradze.
During the visit, President Aliyev emphasized the strong ties between Georgia and Azerbaijan, highlighting their shared strategic goals and stating that Georgia’s participation in CASPIAN AGRO 2025 further strengthens bilateral relations and enhances the potential for trade and economic collaboration.
Minister Songulashvili expressed gratitude for President Aliyev and emphasized that the high quality of products made by Georgian manufacturers lays a solid foundation for deepening economic ties.
“Our participation in the CASPIAN AGRO exhibition is another proof of our commitment to regional cooperation and enhancing our relationship with Azerbaijan. It is crucial for Georgia to be represented with distinction at such significant international exhibitions. We strive to help Georgian quality products access new markets. Such platforms allow us to introduce the country’s potential to a wider international audience and increase export opportunities, which ultimately is the cornerstone for strengthening our country’s economy,” noted Mr. Songulashvili.
The Georgian pavilion at the exhibition showcases a range of high-quality Georgian products, including wine, canned goods, natural juices, confectionery, dried fruits, and organic juices, all produced by companies benefiting from state support programs.
CASPIAN AGRO 2025 is an influential exhibition that attracts more than 15,000 visitors annually and hosts exhibitors from over 25 countries. The event runs from May 13 to May 16, 2025.
Georgian officials, including Deputy Minister Mr. Lasha Dolidze, Ambassador Mr. Zurab Pataradze, and Mr. Giorgi Darchia, Director of the Rural Development Agency, accompanied Minister Songulashvili at the exhibition.
