Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Continues High-Level Meetings in Nice



Mr. David Songulashvili, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, continues his official engagements in Nice, France, as part of the UN High-Level Conference.

 

 

As part of the event, Minister Songulashvili met with Her Excellency Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates.

 

The parties focused on key environmental challenges, including climate change mitigation, while exploring ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

 

Particular emphasis was placed on the development of green technologies and the promotion of sustainable development initiatives. Minister Songulashvili underscored the importance of joint efforts in addressing the global climate crisis.

 

Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain a close dialogue and enhance cooperation on regional and global environmental issues. They also discussed the potential for deepening economic ties through concrete projects, fostering stronger business relations between Georgia and the UAE.

 

The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, accompanied the Minister.
