The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture offers a three-month paid internship to up to 300 young people. Last year, out of approximately 60 interns, around 20 were employed by the Ministry.

As part of an initiative launched by the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and its affiliated agencies will offer a three-month paid internship program to up to 300 young individuals. According to Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the Ministry places particular importance on addressing shortages in high-demand fields such as hydrology, geology, food safety, and veterinary medicine.

“This initiative of the Prime Minister gives young people the opportunity to undergo paid internships in the public sector. Our Ministry has a constant need for professionals in specialized and in-demand areas. That is why students and recent graduates should have an opportunity to gain practical experience, which may lead to future employment within our system,” said Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili.

Last year, under a similar program, approximately 20 of nearly 60 interns are now employed within the Ministry’s system.

Those interested in applying can submit their applications between September 1–10, 2025, through the official government portal administered by the Government Administration: www.hr.gov.ge. Selected candidates will complete their internships from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
