David Songulashvili Meets with the General Director of "RMG"

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, met with RMG General Director Jondo Shubitidze. The parties discussed mineral resource reserve reports, licensing, and the matters related to the Law of Georgia on Environmental Liability.


We maintain active partnerships with the private sector. Major companies drive economic growth, making their support essential. However, development must minimize environmental harm. Companies need to promptly fulfill the Law on Environmental Liability's requirements," said David Songulashvili.

 

Mr. Jondo Shubitidze, General Director of "RMG," thanked the Ministry for its cooperation, emphasizing that, through joint efforts, the company has made significant progress in meeting environmental standards.

 

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Kakha Kakabadze, attended the meeting. Also present were Mr. Mikheil Kvaratskhelia, Director of Environmental Affairs at "RMG," and Mr. Aleksandre Devizde, Deputy Director for Environmental Affairs.
