339 Young People Participate in a Paid Three-Month Internship at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, along with its affiliated Agencies, has launched the intake of interns as part of the government-funded paid internship program.

Selected candidates will undertake the internship from October 1 to December 31, 2025.

The program, initiated by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, is designed for students and recent graduates seeking to gain practical experience within a public institution.
2,469 Applicants Compete for 339 Paid Internship Positions at the Ministry and Its Subordinate Agencies

A total of 2,469 young people have applied for the 339 paid internship positions announced by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and its subordinate agencies.

Key internship opportunities include:

The Agency of Protected Areas will host 27 interns across various protected areas.

The Environmental Supervision Department has announced 15 positions, both in Tbilisi and regional offices.

The National Food Agency will receive 105 interns across the country in the fields of food safety, veterinary services, and plant protection.

The National Wine Agency will offer internship opportunities to 2 candidates.

The Environmental Information and Education Center is offering a three-month paid internship for 4 positions.

The National Wildlife Agency has opened 2 positions.

The National Forestry Agency has announced 94 positions, primarily in forestry management.

The Agency for Nuclear and Radiation Safety has announced internships for 7 positions.

The National Environmental Agency will host 26 interns, mainly within the Hydrometeorology Department.
Additional Internship Opportunities Across Ministry-Affiliated Institutions

The State Laboratory of Agriculture will offer paid internships to 14 interns in both central and regional laboratories.
The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture plans to host 3 interns, while the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring will accept 5 interns.

The National Agency for Mineral Resources has 3 available positions within its Mineral Resource Management Department.
Additionally, LLC “Georgian Amelioration” will offer paid internship opportunities to 8 young professionals.

It is worth noting that under the same program last year, 69 young people completed internships at the Ministry, 19 of whom are now employed within the Ministry’s system.
