As of the First Eight Months of 2025, Georgia’s Agri-Food Exports Exceeded USD 1.1 Billion


As of August 31, 2025, the value of Georgia's agricultural and food product exports reached USD 1.118 billion, marking a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The key export commodities include alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nuts, processed nuts, and blueberries.

 

Furthermore, exports to European Union countries increased by USD 18.3 million (a 19% rise), totaling USD 113.9 million. Higher exports of hazelnuts, fruit, and vegetable juices primarily drove this growth.

 

Specifically, the export value of hazelnuts rose by USD 10.9 million, reaching USD 33.7 million. In addition, exports of juices increased by USD 4.4 million, totaling USD 6.1 million. 6.1 million.

 

Moreover, wine exports to the EU totaled USD 23.6 million, representing a USD 2.1 million increase over the same period last year.
