Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono

During the meeting, the parties explored avenues for future collaboration and discussed ways to expand bilateral trade and economic ties.

 The Minister highlighted the strong relationship between Georgia and Italy, emphasizing substantial opportunities for joint efforts in environmental protection and agricultural advancement.

The discussion also covered issues related to sharing knowledge and strengthening cooperation in environmental and agricultural education, particularly in the viticultural area.

The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences in implementing early warning systems.

 Ambassador D’Antuono reaffirmed Italy’s full readiness for comprehensive and effective cooperation, including sharing best practices.

 Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Lasha Dolidze, also attended the meeting.
