Ecotourism Infrastructure Development is Underway in Vashlovani Protected Areas

Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, along with Mr. Besik Amiranashvili, Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas, inspected the ongoing works for the construction and renovation of ecotourism facilities within the Vashlovani Protected Areas.

At this stage, rehabilitation works are being carried out on the visitor center and adjacent hotel-type rooms, as well as on 17 bungalows and the Takhistskhali ranger complex. As a result, both the quality of visitor services and the working conditions of rangers will be significantly improved.

It is noteworthy that earlier this year, the renewal of informational and interpretive boards, directional signs, and road indicators within the Vashlovani Protected Areas was completed.
