During an official visit to Georgia, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Visits the Georgian-French Joint Enterprise “Food Alliance.”

As part of his working visit to Georgia, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Majnun Mammadov, along with the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Lasha Dolidze, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Mr. Faig Guliyev, and other members of the Azerbaijani governmental delegation, visited the Georgian-French joint enterprise Food Alliance. The company’s CEO, Mr. Jacques Marie Fleury, and Director, Mr. Vakhtang Kokhreidze, hosted the delegation.


The guests toured the state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technologies. Moreover, the members of the delegation were introduced to the company’s full production cycle, safety systems, and quality assurance standards.
 

Particular attention was given to the deep-freezing technology used by the company to ensure the superior product quality and stability. This method is widely used across Europe, and its introduction in Georgia has significantly expanded production capacities.

Mr. Jacques Marie Fleury presented the ongoing projects, plans for technological upgrades, and the company’s strategic directions for production development.

 
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture for its continued support of similar enterprises and for fostering their development. It is a great honor for our team to host a high-level delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan. Both sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation, including the potential expansion of Food Alliance operations into the Azerbaijani market,” stated Mr. Jacques Marie Fleury.

The parties also discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the agri-food sector, including the exchange of technological expertise and the potential for implementing joint projects.
