David Songulashvili Meets Amir Ohana, Speaker of the Knesset
In Jerusalem, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr David Songulashvili, met with the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Mr Amir Ohana.
The parties discussed opportunities to deepen the bilateral partnership, explored new areas of trade and economic cooperation, and addressed issues related to regional stability.
Mr Songulashvili thanked Speaker Ohana for the high-level reception, congratulated him on his election as Speaker of the Knesset, and emphasised the importance of the strategic and friendly relationship between Georgia and Israel.
The parties focused on expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector and underscored the importance of the Knesset’s support in advancing this process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Songulashvili invited Speaker Ohana to visit Georgia.
The Deputy Minister, Mr Lasha Dolidze, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel, Mr Zaza Kandelaki, and Georgia’s Honorary Consul, Mr Meni Ben Ishai, accompanied Minister David Songulashvili.
