Hazelnut exports generated 71% more revenue than in the same period last year.
From August 1, 2025, to January 13, 2026, Georgia exported 11.7 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts, with a total value of USD 117.4 million. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 171.4 tonnes, while export revenues rose by USD 48.8 million, representing a 71% increase.The average export price of hazelnuts reached USD 10.06 per kilogram, representing a 69% increase from the corresponding period last year.
The main destinations for Georgian hazelnut exports are Italy (3,700 tonnes), Spain (1,300 tonnes), Germany (786.3 tonnes), and France (617.6 tonnes). In addition, Georgian hazelnuts are actively exported to Syria, Armenia, Greece, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
