Exported Bay Leaf Volume Increased by 60%, Value by 51%
In February 2026, Georgia exported 803 tonnes of bay leaves, amounting to USD 3.2 million. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the export volume increased by 60% (301 tonnes), while the export value rose by 51% (USD 1.1 million).
Since 2021, the export price of bay leaves has also been on an upward trend, reaching USD 4.2 per kilogram in 2025.
The main export markets for Georgian bay leaves are China (68%) and Russia (22%).
