David Songulashvili: “We are making the process as transparent as possible to further increase trust.”

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr David Songulashvili, highlighted several key aspects while speaking about the advantages of the State Agro-Co-financing Program.

 

“Transparency increases the credibility of projects. That is precisely why we are making the process as transparent as possible to further increase trust among farmers. They should be able to see from the outset how the process unfolds, what is important, what they need to take into account, and why they did or did not receive support. They should understand what needs to be strengthened and where we can provide additional support,” said Mr David Songulashvili.

 

The Minister emphasised that project eligibility for financing depends significantly on the implementing party’s qualifications, including relevant experience and access to qualified agronomists and specialists.”

 

According to Mr Songulashvili, all components required for the successful implementation of a project must be considered from the very beginning.
