During his visit to the Imereti Region, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr David Songulashvili, opened a new regional office of the National Agency of Mineral Resources in Kutaisi.The Minister toured the newly arranged and fully equipped facility designed in accordance with modern standards and met with the Agency’s staff. He emphasized that a comfortable working environment, aligned with contemporary requirements, will further enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of service.
“The opening of a new regional office of the National Agency of Mineral Resources in Western Georgia represents an important step toward increasing the accessibility of the Agency’s services and ensuring more effective management of the mineral sector in the regions. It is essential to ensure that citizens and businesses have timely and efficient access to the services they require. We aim to establish more transparent and results-oriented services through the implementation of modern approaches and best practices, ensuring full compliance with environmental standards,” said Mr David Songulashvili.
The Deputies of the Minister, Mr Lasha Avaliani and Mr Giorgi Tskrialashvili, the Mayor of Kutaisi, Mr David Eremeishvili, the Head of the National Agency of Mineral Resources, Mr Abel Abesadze, the Director of the Rural Development Agency, Mr Zurab Gozalishvili, the Head of the National Food Agency, Mr Giorgi Iakobashvili, and representatives of local authorities attended the opening ceremony.
