Minister David Songulashvili Visits “Kulinari” food processing facility focusing on ready-to-cook products
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr David Songulashvili, visited the semi-finished food production enterprise LLC “Kulnari” in Kutaisi, where he reviewed the company’s operations.LLC “Kulnari” produces approximately 110 tonnes of semi-finished products per month. The company’s products are sold on the local market and distributed through retail chains operating nationwide. In total, the enterprise and its distribution network employ around 100 people.
The company is a beneficiary of the Rural Development Agency. During its establishment and development stages, it has repeatedly benefited from the “Preferential Agrocredit” program.
Within the framework of the Preferential Agrocredit project, commercial banks have issued preferential agricultural loans totaling GEL 300 million in the Imereti region, while co-financing provided by the Rural Development Agency amounts to GEL 7.7 million.
The Deputies of the Minister, Mr Lasha Avaliani and Mr Giorgi Tskrialashvili, the Kutaisi Mayor, Mr Davit Eremeishvili, the Director of the Rural Development Agency, Mr Zurab Gozalishvili, the Head of the National Food Agency, Mr Giorgi Iakobashvili, as well as representatives of local government accompanied the Minister.
