David Songulashvili: "During Our Visit to Kazakhstan, We Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement, with Agriculture as One of Its Key Priority Areas"
As part of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr Irakli Kobakhidze, to Kazakhstan, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr David Songulashvili, is accompanying the Prime Minister on the visit.As part of the visit, Minister Songulashvili held a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Mr Aidarbek Saparov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, emphasizing the positive momentum in trade and economic relations between the two countries.
"Kazakhstan is one of Georgia's key strategic partners. We signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement during the visit, with agriculture as one of its priority areas. The agreement creates new opportunities for expanding exports of Georgian agricultural products, which will support domestic production, strengthen the agricultural sector, and contribute to the country's economic growth," Mr David Songulashvili stated.
