The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Georgia and Armenia, Ulrik Tidestrom. Future cooperation issues have been discussed by sides at the meeting. Levan Davitashvili has been focused on waste management, nuclear and radiation safety related issues and underlined the importance of support and active cooperation of the Kingdom of Sweden in the field of environmental protection.
The development of green economy is a top priority for the country-was stressed by the Minister at the meeting.
According to Ulrik Tidestrom, Georgia has the broader vision of environmental development. The Ambassador confirmed the full support of the Kingdom of Sweden and expressed willingness for further close cooperation with Georgia.
