David Songulashvili Meets with Fruit Exporters

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr David Songulashvili, met with fruit exporters to discuss current needs, challenges and potential solutions in the export sector.



According to Minister Songulashvili, coordinated cooperation between the government and the private sector is essential to developing exports.

 

“We aim to support the expansion of export opportunities and enhance the competitiveness of Georgian products in international markets. To achieve this goal, we are meeting with business representatives to work together and identify more effective solutions,” said Mr David Songulashvili.



The Minister noted that active communication with the sector would continue. A working group will be established, bringing together exporters, Ministry representatives, and its relevant Agencies.



The working group will conduct a detailed review of the issues identified and determine appropriate measures to address them.



The Deputies of the Minister, Mr Lasha Dolidze and Mr Lasha Avaliani; Mr Vakhtang Bejitashvili, Chairman of the Association of Fruit and Vegetable Exporters; and senior officials and representatives of the Ministry’s relevant Agencies attended the meeting.
