Levan Davitashvili met with the French Senator

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Senator of the Republic of France, René Danes. At the meeting, Levan Davitashvili has been focused on achievements and challenges  faced by the agriculture sector, the Minister highlighted environmental issues and brought forward state policy on environmental protection.
Georgia has a great agricultural potential , therefore, agriculture is the top priority for the country -was stressed by the Minister.
Discussions included state measures comprising of ongoing, planned and implemented agricultural activities. The sides drew their attention to the development of cooperative farms and pointed out, that Georgia has a big potential in terms of the development of agro-ecotourism.
France to continue further support to Georgia has been confirmed by the Senator at the meeting.
