Nodar Kereselidze hosted the Delegation of the European Council

The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nodar Kereselidze met with the Head of the Major Hazards and Environmental Division of the Council of Europe,  Gianluca Silvestrini. At the meeting, the sides discussed prospects of future environmental cooperation between the countries.
The environment protection is one of the priority directions of Georgia was noted by  the First Deputy Minister, who also brought forward the concept of green economy development in the context of environmental policy.
The participants were focused on issues, regarding, Georgia to gain the status of the chair country in the Council of Europe by the years 2019-2020 and to hold the Conference.
The Deputy Minister, Yuri Nozadze attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
