Representatives of two Countries discussed Issues of Future Cooperation in Argentina

Under the frame of the official visit to Argentina, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili met with the Chief of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Agroindustry of Argentina, Santiago Del Solar.
At the meeting, the two parties have been focused on specific directions and discussed possibilities of future agricultural cooperation between Georgia and Argentina. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the two countries, which creates an opportunity to implement joint projects, promote agricultural development, introduce innovative technologies and conduct scientific research. According to Levan Davitashvili, the overral goal of the visit is to share experience in the field of food processing industry and primary production, study agricultural potential in Argentina, promote business relations between Georgian and Argentinian private sector through support of  Georgian and Argentinian Governments .
Santiago Del Solar expressed gratitude and appreciation to Levan Davitashvili and Georgian Delegation for their visit and noted, that it is very important for Argentina to attract new partners, strengthen positions in other countries’ markets, access to new markets and implement joint projects.
"Georgia is a good example of good partner relations and we are glad  to jointly enhance trade-economic relations, promote agriculture development among our countries and give our producers an opportunity to establish direct contacts " – said Santiago Del Solar.
At the official meetings, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili was accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to the Republic of Chile, Paraguay, Republic of Uruguay, Republic of Ecuador and the multinational state of Bolivia, Irakli Khurashvili and the Head of the National Food Agency of Georgia, Zurab Chekurashvili. Â
