Minister hosted the students of Viticulture and Wine making Faculty

At the Museum of the National Wine Agency, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia,  Levan Davitashvili hosted the first-year students of Viticulture and Winemaking Faculty of Georgian Technical University. Levan Davitashvili provided students with the detailed information of ongoing and implemented projects supported from the Government of Georgia to develop winemaking sector in the country. 
The wine sector being a priority in the country, also increased awareness of Georgian wine in the international markets was stressed at the meeting.
" Communication with the new generation, being in connection with future winemakers as well as exchange of information with them is very important for us. You are future professionals who will develop wine and viticulture field in the country. The state takes important steps towards this direction. I'm always ready to meet and support you to become professionals and will further assist you to have direct communication with employers. The main thing is to get a good education and be hard workers. "- said Levan Davitashvili.
The interactive meeting run effectively with the active participation of all students. The Minister answered all questions posed by the students. Within the meeting, the students visited wine cellar and enoteca at the National Wine Agency.
