New Fruit processing modern enterprise LTD ‘’Fruit Paper Company" was created under the state financial support project in village Sagholasheni,  Kareli municipality. In total, GEL 1,013,000 was invested in the enterprise, out of which 405,000 GEL is grant and 507,000 GEL preferential agrocredit.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili accompanied by Shida Kartli regional governor, Giorgi Khojevinashvili and Deputy Director of Agricultural Projects Management Agency, Giorgi Jibladze opened the enterprise.
An enterprise is able to process 10 tons of raw material daily, thereby, following products are produced in the company such as: tklapi - puréed fruit roll-up leather, Janjukha, different types of fruit purees and jams. At this stage the products will be sold on the local market; Export is also planned in the future. The processing enterprise employs 29 people. In 2019, through support of the Agriculture Projects Management Agency, the company plans to introduce ISO 22: 000 international food safety standards.
It is worth noting,  that since 2013, through state support, 180 new enterprises have been financed under the "Unified AgroProject". The financial support of the state has given the entrepreneurs an additional push to develop and expand their production.
The Agricultural Projects Management Agency carries out the Unified Agro Project, which is targeted on a long-term development and aims to promote the steady growth of a  high-quality production, introduction of food safety international standards, and subsequently to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in Georgia.
