Presentation on the implementation of the agricultural development strategy
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili attended the presentation on the assessment of implementation of the "Agricultural Development Strategy", which was presented by the representative of the International Institute of Economics (ISET) Research Institute "Reformer".
Within the frame of the meeting, ISET team presented the 2018 performance indicators of the agricultural development strategy. It was noted, that 82% of the measures envisaged by the Strategy are effectively implemented.
Discussions included issues related to the institutional arrangement, human resources development, target management of infrastructure and budget funds, as well as working on legislative tasks.
The participants were also focused on current and planned activities implemented by the Agricultural Projects Management Agency within the frame of the "Unified AgroProject".
The agricultural experts, representatives of non-governmental, international, donor organizations and private sector attended the meeting. Â
