The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili together with the Deputies and Heads of the Departments and Agencies within the Ministry highlighted agricultural and environmental activities implemented in 2018 which are envisaged under the Action Plan of the Agricultural Development Strategy and the 3rd National Environmental Action Program of Georgia. The participants underlined the importance of the activities undertaken throughout the year and drew their attention to the future plans, they also noted, that effective mechanisms should be developed to deal with some of the shortcomings and drawbacks faced by the sector. The three-day workshop was held with the financial support of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
