Conservation agreements to sign for the first time in Georgia

Conservation agreements have been signed for the first time in Georgia, under which, the local residents from 4 community groups living in Adigeni municipality will be actively engaged in the conservation of biological diversity and management of threatened and endangered species. 

Under the frame of the project ECF, the agreements were signed between the WWF and Dertselli, Mokhe, Naminauri and Tsikhsubani Community groups.

 
The Director of Economic Cooperation and Development Department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Adviser to the Prime Minister on regional development issues, Sozar Subari, as well as representatives of governmental, non-governmental and international organizations and local communities attended the event.
The signing ceremony was held under the financial support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation of Germany (BMZ).
