Levan Davitashvili hosted the Director of the Belarussian company "Fitera", Maxim Bukreev

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Director of the Belarussian company "Fitera", Maxim Bukreev. The organic farming related issues, as well as, creation of eco friendly environment to obtain ecologically pure products have been stressed by participants who also pointed out, that Georgia has great resources and potential in this direction. At the meeting, the sides were focused on the production and utilization of organic fertilizers to improve soil fertility, increase quality and quantity of crops and boost their productivity. The importance to maintain agro-ecosystems was also discussed by participants at the meeting.
The representatives of the Belarussian Company expressed their wish to provide a consultation service and share their experiences to Georgian farmers.
The Advisor at the Embassy of Belarus in Georgia, Gennady Kluga, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and its agencies and Biological Farming Association ‘’Elkana’’ attended the meeting.
