In the 3rd quarter of 2018, total output for agribusiness was increased by 185.9 million GEL (7.5%).  Preliminary indicators of national accounts in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was published by National Statistics Office of Georgia-Geostat.
According to which, the output of primary agricultural products was increased by 99.6 million gel (9.5%).  Total output of food products made by processed agricultural products increased by 86.2 million lari (6.1%).
The  value added created in agri food sector increased by 102.1 million GEL (8.2%) (Gross domestic product at current prices). In particular, the value added created in the agriculture sector increased by 63.1 million GEL (9.1%), the value added created in the agricultural products processing sectors by 39.0 million GEL (7.1%).
Agriculture, hunting and forestry; Gross domestic product created in the fishing and fishery sector at constant prices, increased by 17.5 million lari (3.8%) in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
In total, within the three quarters of 2018, compared to the same period of the previous year, the total gross output in agribusiness was increased by 337.2 million lari (5.2%). Output of primary agricultural products was increased by 151.1 million GEL (5.2%) and total output of food products made by processed agricultural products increased by 186.1 million GEL (5.2%).
The value added created in the agri food sector increased by 215.2 million GEL (6.3%) (GDP at current prices). In particular, the value added created in the agriculture sector increased by 79.9 million GEL (4.0%), the value added in  agricultural products processing sectors increased by 135.3 million GEL (9.7%).
