"Do Not Cut –Decorate’’
Under the campaign ‘’Do Not Cut -Decorate’’, the Environmental Information and Education Center has organized the Chrismas Tree decorating outdoor event at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nino Tandilashvili congratulated employees of the Ministry and their children on a coming New Year, she stressed the importance of the campaign, expressed her gratitude to each participant and drew her attention to the relevance of national educational institutions to engage in the aforementioned campaigns.
Under the frame of the event, children watched an animated cartoon movie ‘’Bobo and Gvantsa’’, which was created by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture to illustrate the importance of biodiversity with its individual species and habitats.
Since 2016, an annual campaign "Do Not Cut-Decorate" is held to address and prevent cutting of coniferous trees.
