Ministry of the Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and GIZ to sign a Memorandum of Understanding
 A Memorandum of Understanding comprising of sustainable management of natural resources and protection of biodiversity and ecosystems in Georgia has been signed between the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
 The memorandum was signed by the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili and the Head of the South Caucasus Bureau of GIZ, Roland Steurer. Solomon Pavliashvili thanked Roland Steurer for cooperation and noted, that Memorandum of Understanding outlines German Government to be a faithful supporter and partner for Georgia.
 German side counts 10-years of successful cooperation with Georgia. This cooperation included a support to forestry sector reforms and sustainable forest management- stressed the Head of the South Caucasus Bureau of GIZ, Roland Steurer, who also noted, that Georgia is a reliable partner for Germany.
