According to the data of December 27, tangerine export amounted to 25,182 tons, however, the export of tangerine amounted to 19,118 tons in the same period of the previous year.This year we enjoy an abundant harvest, which gives us more opportunities to increase citrus export to different countries. The list of major export countries include Russia (16,558 t) and Ukraine (5,365 t), Armenia (2,641 tons),Uzbekistan (261 t), Kazakhstan (138), Belarus (120 t), Kyrgyzstan (60 t), Ukraine (5,365 t), Armenia (2,641 tons), Uzbekistan (261 t), Kazakhstan (138), Belarus (120 t), Latvia (40 t). 
The wholesale price on tangerines still fluctuates from 0.40 to 0.70GEL. It should be noted, that 7,699 tons of non-standard-poor quality tangerine was received by factories for industrial processing over the period from 1 to 27 December. However according to the indicator in the same period in the previous year it showed 7,415 tons.
With the support of the government of Ajara,  the Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara opened the coordination center, which is operated in Adjara region to promote the smooth flow of tangerine delivery process.
The hot line of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (1501) is operated in the center, where all intereseted persons can get the necessary information.
