Members of Georgian Government brought Christmas Gifts to the residents of Arkhoti and Shatili Gorges

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, Head of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Temur Kekelidze and Mtskheta-Mtianeti State Representative, Shalva Kereselidze visited Shatili and Arkhoti gorges. They congratulated local residents, rangers and border guards on coming Christmas and New Year and delivered New Year gifts to them.

The Head of the Border Police visited border sector "Shatili", he thanked border guards for performing their duties honestly and faithfully and wished them a successful year. Temur Kekelidze noted, that, improving conditions for border guards will be a key priority for Georgian government next year.

Different countries including Turkey, US, France, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Hungary and Netherlands sent presents for the residents of Arkhoti and Shatili gorges. The government officials flied on the helicopter of Georgia's Border Police to deliver Christmas Gifts.

The helicopter of the Border Police served teachers of Shatili boarding school and took them to Tbilisi. The first Deputy Chief of the Border Police, Kakhaber Chikovani and Mayor of Dusheti Municipality, Zurab Sekhniashvili visited Arkhoti and Shatili gorges.Â
