About 70 companies producing dairy products along with the representatives of relevant governmental structures, supermarkets, agrarian markets and sector associations participated in the meeting.
Products made from natural / raw milk not containing milk powder or any other vegetable oil will be given the mark of ‘Georgian Milk. 
It is noteworthy, that "Georgian milk" mark will promote the popularity of Georgian raw milk products in various markets. Similar initiatives are very popular in different countries around the world. We welcome to this private initiative taken by diary producers. In a short time we will have a presentation on the  quality signs developed by the Ministry, where we will provide a detailed information on the importance of specific signs. Moreover, each step taken to improve the quality performance will contribute to increase credibility and promote quality products "- said Levan Davitashvili.
The organizers of the presentation of "Georgian Milk" mark were Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency and Mercy Corps Georgia project "Caucasus Alliance Program" (ALCP).
