 Under the frame of the Village Support Program, Levan Davitashvili accompanied by the Governor of Shida Kartli region, Giorgi Khojevanishvili met with the local residents of village Tkviavi.
In accordance with the decision made by the Georgian Government, before March 1, 2019, local residents will make a rational decision on the 20 million GEL allocated under the Village Support Program. With the aim to get information on the needs and requirements of rural population the meetings with local residents are being held throughout Georgia.
 ‘’ The high rank officials and representatives of Georgian Government will attend the distribution of funds allocated for the village. The rural residents run into a number of issues they have to deal with. In order to develop a public policy, the needs of the rural population should be taken into account, accordingly, we have a constant and tight communication with them "said Levan Davitashvili.
Under the program, with the joint decision of the village Tkviavi, the fence around the Virgin Mary Church will be restored, the fence will be built around the stadium and the roads will be graveled in a number of streets.
As Shida Kartli Governor, Giorgi Khojevanishvili stated, the issues brought forward by the residents of village Tkviavi will be solved this year.
 "In order to meet the demands of the people, the municipality will allocate extra funds" said Giorgi Khojevanishvili.
3700 villages are engaged in the Village Support Program.
