Levan Davitashvili delivered a speech at the regional business forum "Open Dialogue"

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili participated in the business forum together with the Minister of Economy and Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Maia Tskitishvili. The event was organized by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Levan Davitashvili underlined the importance of communication with business sector and noted, that dialogue with business is essential for implementing effective government policy.
"Our Ministry works in two directions, thereby, it implements policies regulating activities in the fields of agriculture and environment, which is directly related to our business sector.
 ‘’Therefore, communication with business is important for effective implementation of government policy. Any regulatory document developed by the Ministry serves to create a fairly competitive environment. It is also important to attract domestic and foreign investments in the field of agriculture and we have a number of agricultural programs to support business " - said Levan Davitashvili.
Up to 200 representatives from small, medium and large enterprises, cooperatives and business associations attended the meeting , which was held in the dialogue format.
Under the frame of the Forum, the Heads of the National Agency of Public Registry, National Agency of State Property, Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, "Produce in Georgia", National Food Agency, Project Management Agency, Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency made presentations.
