Under the frame of the ENPARD, the twentieth meeting of the Standing Committee was held

Under the frame of the European Neighborhood Program (ENPARD) for agriculture and rural development, the twentieth meeting of the Standing Committee was conducted. The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Khatia Tsilosani led the meeting.

Together with the members of the Committee, the Deputy Minister brought forward obligations implemented under the ENPARD and thanked the EU and partner organizations for their active support.
The Representatives of the EU, UNDP and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) highlighted future views of the Ministry.

The participants drew their attention to the conference planned to hold on April 2019  in Tbilisi, under which the rural development issues will be discussed together with  the international experts.

The EU representative in Georgia, Ray Vincent, the EU Delegation in agriculture attache Christine Casella, EU representative Ketevan Khutsishvili, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative Raimund Jehle and Mamuka Meskhi, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) representative Munkhtuya Altangerel, and ENPARD consortium members attended the meeting.
