150 seedlings were delivered free to farmer Aleksandre Kopadze

The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili and Governor of Shida Kartli region, Giorgi Khojevanishvili delivered up to 150 apple seedlings to the local farmer, Aleksandre Kopadze in village Arashenda, Gori municipality.
Last December, Alexander Kopadze’s apple orchard experienced a significant damage, as four year old trees already bearing fruit were totally destroyed by unknown persons.

With the help of the Information-Consultation Service of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture in Shida Kartli, private farming company "Complex-Argo" LLC provided farmer with apple seedlings to restore the damaged garden. The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia provides technical assistance to farmers.

''I would like to thank all people who helped Alexandre Kopatdze, especially nursery farm" complex-agro ", which delivered free seedlings to farmer. 
Thus we help farmers not only to restore their gardens but to give them faith and hope for the best " said Giorgi Khanishvili.
" Restoring fruit orchards in Shida Kartli region is of utmost importance. The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture is implementing a number of supporting projects in this direction. Alexandre Kopadze will have a new garden through our support "- said Giorgi Khojevanishvili.

The farmer thanked the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and local authorities for their support.
