"Georgia – Homeland of Wine" Exhibition related issues to discuss by the Minister and the Ambassador of Japan

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia Tadaharu Uehara.

The importance of the exhibition "Georgia – Homeland of Wine" held in Tokyo, Japan was discussed at the meeting. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for the support and noted, that  above mentioned exhibition has significantly contributed to the increase of awareness of Georgian wine abroad.

According to Tadahar Uehara, the demand for Georgian wines has been increased, which rather stimulates the growth of wine export in Japan.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Khatia Tsilosani attended the meeting.
