Free Weather and Hydrological Forecast for Media Outlets, Scientific-Research and Educational Institutions

According to the decision made at the government session today, the National Environmental Agency will provide hydrological and meteorological observations, weather and hydrological forecasts to the scientific and research institutions for free.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of Georgia № 502, issued on August 18, 2014  “ changes will be made in service fees and different modes of service provisions offered by the Legal Entity of Public Law- National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

Under the frame of the implemented changes, the effectiveness of the scientific research conducted in the field of hydrometeorology will be further improved, young specialists will be trained to increase their knowledge and skills, timely information about expected weather  and natural hydro meteorological phenomena will be provided to population.
