The visitors will be able to see unique species of flora and fauna, moreover, plants included in the red list will be planted in Krtsanisi forest-park, furthermore, the function of the park  will be restored , recreational facility and forest-park will be open for all visitors where they can walk, ride bicycle or electric motor.

"I would like to make a brief presentation and highlight challenges we face; We will introduce you with the vision on how to implement the Biodiversity Restoration Program. It is worth mentioning that, as a result of the demand on fuels and timber resources forests are under great pressure.

Some local species of fauna face threat which is mostly related to the unorganized hunting and irrational fishing practices. Moreover, lack of scientific research as well as monitoring is obvious.  The legislative base should be regulated as well.

We have to deal with the challenges and take consistent actions to get a new reality, restore and protect biodiversity. "National Wildlife Agency" will implement a new program and will take important steps to restore biodiversity.
In 2017, under the frame of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) program " “Capacity Building for Sustainable Wildlife Management in Georgia" two events were planned:
Assessment of existing legal space and planning its arrangement;

Practical modeling of Sustainable Wildlife Management

The FAO Expert Group gave a recommendation to establish a wildlife management body in the existing institution in 2018.
Considering existing challenges, as well as, recommendation provided by FAO Expert Group, under the decision of the Government of Georgia according to the Decree Resolution 86, February 15, 2019, under the reorganization, the LEPL "National Wildlife Agency" will be established on the basis of the LEPL "National Nursery Farm" of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

The goals and objectives of the Agency are already defined:

Recording and monitoring of species and their habitats;

Creating a gene pool to conduct a survey for further restoration of species and habitats;

Habitat Restoration Planning

Providing private sector with consulting services and mother groups.

Identification of license areas and development of license conditions in terms of species and habitats;
