Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili hosted Apostolic Nuncio to Georgia, Archbishop José Avelino Bettencourt

Georgian Government policy and reforms implemented in agricultural and environmental fields, as well as, the importance of bilateral cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals was underlined by the Minister at the meeting.

According to Monsignor Jose Avelino Batankuri, Georgia and the Holy See have bilateral historical relations, which creates an important basis for future cooperation as well.
