Giorgi Khanishvili: " financial contribution of France is crucial in the development of agricultural sector of Georgia"

At the meeting with Jérôme Chartier, First Vice-President of the region Ile de France  and the Ambassador Ambassador of the France to Georgia Pascal Meunier, First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili declared: " Financial contribution provided by French side is crucial in the development of livestock sector, wheat production and cooperative farms. France is our partner and supporter ". 
At the meeting, the parties discussed perspectives of further cooperation and brought forward issues related to the sectoral education and food industry. Giorgi Khanishvili introduced Jeremy Chartie with the agricultural development programs and identified agriculture as the top priority sector. 
"France has a rich economic system, but Georgia has a large number of people who have the potential to succeed. Our great desire is to assist Georgia in building a better economy "said Jerome Chartie.
Jeremy Chartie confirmed to attach a great importance to a friendly relationship and a strategic partnership between the two countries and expressed his willingness to cooperate further.
