The Independence Day of Georgia May 26 marked by solemn events in Ozurgeti

The guests visiting the central square of Ozurgeti have an opportunity to get acquainted with the culinary diversity and traditions of Georgian regions, folk arts and crafts, also to be familiar with the biographical data of exceptional and successful people engaged in the environmental field.
Within the scope of the event, Georgian wine exhibition and sale is organized,spaces are arranged for children, where sports competitions, funny quizzes and cognitive games are held. Together with the invited guests, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili, State Representative in Guria region Zurab Nasaraia and local self-government representatives are attending the event.
The ceremonial event includes stunning characters from Niko Pirosmani's canvas, panneau made of fresh flowers and corner for photo session - "Be a Pirosmani table guest". Singers and musical groups entertain the guests throughout the day.
In the central square of city Ozurgeti, as well as throughout Georgia, the national anthem of Georgia will be performed. The grand concert of "Erisioni" and famous Georgian singers will complete the event.
